Report Says Many Vaccines Stored Improperly

Recently, Good Morning America (GMA) highlighted a government report that calls into question the proper storage of vaccines throughout the US. The report focused on vaccines in the Vaccine for Children program, but the GMA story illuminates that this issue is prevalent with vaccines not provided by the program. Here's a video of the newsclip from GMA:

To summmarize:

An investigation by the Department of Health and Human Services' Office of the Inspector General (HHS OIG) found that many providers of immunizations meant for low-income children don't store the vaccines at proper temperatures, potentially rendering them ineffective and placing children at risk for contracting serious diseases.

This is obviously a serious issue for multiple reasons, however it should be noted that just because the vaccine is ineffective, the expert GMA spoke with said they are still safe.
